​District High School Counselors collaborated together for the purpose of providing quick and easy access to resources and information for high school students and families regarding this unusual time away from school and issues surrounding the coronavirus.  Junior Meetings   -   November 18 @1pm

Attention Juniors:  counselors will be hosting an informational meeting on November 18th.  We will be discussing post high school plans such as work, college, SAT and how to start preparing for life after high school.  Each counselor will be hosting their own students at 1pm and will be offering a Q and A session after the presentation.  The links for these meetings will be uploaded into the counseling Google Classroom.

Western Michigan University Fall Open House

  • Fall Open House: High school juniors and seniors are invited to virtually attend a Fall Open House to get their questions answered before they even apply. During the event, they will be able to interact with college representatives, explore their home with a current student, learn what it means to Rethink Smart and more! Remaining Fall Open House sessions will start at 10 a.m. ET on:
    • Friday, Nov. 6
    • Friday, Nov. 13
  • Bronco Scholar Showcase: High achieving students are invited to attend this open house featuring the WMU Lee Honors College and learn about the benefits of being an honors student at WMU.
    • Friday, Oct. 9
  • NACAC Virtual College Fairs: WMU and hundreds of other colleges welcome students to this virtual college fair. Students can register, view the details of the WMU breakout sessions, and join us for a live session with reps from various academic colleges. The NACAC Virtual College Fairs take place on the following days and times:
    • Monday, Oct. 12, 1 to 9 p.m. ET
    • Sunday, Oct.18, 12 to 8 p.m. ET
