The Mission of the Rochester Community Schools guidance counselors is to provide a comprehensive program of counseling and guidance services to all students. Designed to meet the developmental needs for academic planning, along with personal and social growth, this program assists students in their pursuit of rewarding educational and career goals and positive life choices.

District High School Counselors collaborated together for the purpose of providing quick and easy access to resources and information for high school students and families regarding this unusual time away from school and issues surrounding the coronavirus. We can get through this together with the support of each other, proper resources and good intention.  Click here to access this resource.

COUNSELING - THIS MONTH:

SEMESTER 2 SCHEDULES

Schedulers and Counselors are busy with processing SM2 schedules so they are ready for distribution!  It is a huge undertaking this year to organize the staffing and courses to accommodate the transfers between the in person and virtual campuses.  We know you are anxious to get this information and we will update you as soon as possible in the Falcon Flyer or by school messenger.  We will hold off on any regular schedule changes until the schedules are released so we can focus on making sure everyone has a complete schedule and the senior students have what courses they need for graduation!

NEXT YEAR SCHEDULING IS COMING UP NEXT!
