The Mission of the Rochester Community Schools guidance counselors is to provide a comprehensive program of counseling and guidance services to all students. AP TESTING STARTS MAY 6TH
AP Students!
Testing begins with AP Government on Monday 5/6! Remember to bring pencils, pens, an ID, and your student pack to every test! Also remember to leave your cell phones and electronic devices at home or in your car. If you have not received your student pack see Mr. Green in the counseling office. The test and room locations can be found on the district AP Website (https://www.rochester.k12.mi.us/pages/108739/advanced-placement) as well as outside of the counseling office. Be mindful of the construction around Oakland University and give yourself PLENTY of time to arrive on time! See Mr. Green or Mrs. Zotos with any questions or concerns. |

Seniors Honors Convocation 2019 Date Change
Please mark your calendar for May 15, 2019 for RHS's senior Honors Convocation. This event provides us with an opportunity to recognize our outstanding seniors. During this event, we will recognize and celebrate our students that meet the RCS Academic Recognition for seniors and those students that have received scholarships from colleges or organization. All information needed to be turned into the counseling office by April 10th to be included in the program.
Seniors - what are your plans after high school? We need to know.
We request that every student fill out the "after high school plans" document. This was mailed home in March. You can also download it here.

TEST SCORES
SAT scores will be available in your college board account starting May 2nd. Students who participated on the initial test day for PSAT 9 and PSAT 10 can expect to receive access to scores in their college board account beginning on May 20, 2019. (Please note that students who tested as part of the makeup test day may not be included in the release of scores on this date, these will be released as they become available.)

How to Request your Transcript
Transcript Request
If your college has requested your 7th semester transcript, you can request it now. Just choose "hold for grades" instead of "send now" and they will automatically be released early February.
Scholarship requests (i.e. Foundation of SE Michigan, Rochester Foundation) can be made through Parchment. If scholarships are requesting a paper copy, please visit the counseling office and we will gladly prepare one for you. . |
